COSRX The Retinol 0.1 Cream is a light, gentle anti-aging night cream containing 0.1% retinol that prevents the signs of aging. The cream is suitable for those who are new to using retinol and those with sensitive skin. Thanks to the gentle composition of the cream, it can also be used on the thin skin around the eyes.

The product fades the signs of aging, firms, renews, smoothes and brightens the skin. The cream also fades acne scars and reduces the sebum production of the skin.

RETINOL
Retinol is one of the most researched skin care ingredients, and it belongs to the class of retinoids, i.e. vitamin A derivatives. Retinol is used in cosmetics to treat lines and signs of aging. Retinol boosts the production of skin cells, which speeds up the skin renewal process. This, in turn, fades skin lines, acne scars, evens out unevenness and makes the skin bright and healthy.
Retinol also revives the skin’s own collagen production, as a result of which the skin becomes stronger, thicker and more elastic.
Skin prone to impurities also benefits from retinol, as retinol has a sebaceous secretion-reducing effect. Thanks to the slower sebum secretion and the accelerated regeneration of the skin, the skin does not clog as easily as before, so the impurities on the skin are reduced.
By using retinol correctly, the skin’s protection factor improves and dryness decreases, because using retinol increases the amount of natural hyaluronic acid in the skin.
HOW TO USE

A pea-sized amount of cream is used as the last step of the skin care routine. Initially, it is recommended to use the product less than three times a week to minimize skin irritation. Retinol may sensitize the skin to the sun, so it is recommended to use it only in the evenings.

Note! Retinol oxidizes and loses its effectiveness easily, which is why it is recommended to store it in the refrigerator.
